About This Project

Heybeliada (Chalki), Prince Islands, Istanbul, Turkey

The project defines and allows orientation within the forest hill, the Hill of Hope, of the Chalki Theological School. It highlights the special characteristics of the greater landscape of the Theological School. The regeneration scheme of the Hill of Hope is articulated through a set of interventions that cover functional, architectural, urban, landscape and environmental parameters. A precise and rigorous environmental strategy is therefore implemented. The aim is a sustainable landscape intervention for both visitors of the Theological School and residents of the island.
